Karen started her career at CBS Television, New York and held positions including Audience Research Manager and Account Executive at WCAU-TV, Philadelphia. She additionally worked for CBS Records, CBS Publishing, and as an Associate Pastor at Vineyard Church North Phoenix overseeing community outreach.

As a co-owner, Karen helped grow Emmy-award winning SMASH Advertising Inc., a national agency from the ground floor up. With increasing responsibilities she was named VP/Director of Sales. Karen had the opportunity to learn all aspects of business including budgeting, operations, marketing, and sales. Clients included high level executives at CBS, NBC, Turner Broadcasting, and Buena Vista Television.

She later founded New Destiny Marketing, LLC in Phoenix to provide experienced sales and marketing services including social media blogging and writing website content for small business owners. New Destiny Marketing, LLC’s mission is to only represent high quality products and services that operate with integrity. Karen strongly believes in giving back to the community and is a requested speaker.
